Available only in a controlled-production run of 1,500, with the serial number engraved on each caseback, this dynamic timepiece combines solid tailoring with the highest degree of accuracy possible in a wristwatch. Evoking a beautiful nighttime scene inspired by cherry blossoms illuminated by stars, this exceptional creation features a dial with a vertical purple gradation and a transparent circular pattern expressing the trajectories of the blossoms floating through the night sky. Powered by Seiko’s GPS solar caliber 3X62, it is GPS controlled for high-speed time and time zone adjustment to 39 time zones and includes an in-flight mode and perpetual date calendar correct to the year 2100. To ensure smooth operation, the watch is equipped with a signal reception result indicator, a power save function, and a highly efficient solar cell powered by light energy, with no battery change required. The unique purple dial offers a multi-function indicator subdial for easy mode reference, as well as sharp and highly visible three-dimensional applied indices, and LumiBrite hands and markers.
